Congratulations on being approved for a Clockwork PM rental home. Please remember the following information:
First Month's Rent & Security Deposit
Your first month's rent check, security deposit, and any other fees are payable at the lease signing. Please confirm the amount with our management team in advance.
Move-in Date & Inspection
We will set your move-in date and key exchange at the lease signing. If an inspection or move-in report is necessary, we'll also provide information at that time.
After taking possession of the property, you need to place the utility accounts in your name. Please take care of this immediately in order to avoid any outages.
As you prepare to leave your Clockwork PM home, the following information should help guide the process:
Notice of Intent to Vacate
The lease for your property outlines the duration of your tenancy. If you wish to leave your home, we request written notice of your intent to vacate the premises. Please be sure to pay attention to the terms regarding your departure.
Before returning the keys for your property, you need to restore it to its previous condition.
- Rental Cleaning: Be sure to thoroughly clean the property after removing all belongings. Sweep, vacuum/mop all floors in the home. Walls should be washed, and hard surfaces sanitized.
- Landscaping & Outdoor Areas: All outdoor chores also need to be handled. If your property has outdoor space, you'll need to mow the lawn, weed the gardens, etc.
- Repairs: All damage that occurs during your stay needs to be taken care of upon departure. Patch nail and screw holes, repaint damaged areas, and replace broken glass.
The security deposit covers any damage that occurs during your stay, beyond regular wear and tear. As such, it may not be used as your final month's rent check. Please make other arrangements for your last month. If you do not pay your rent promptly, we may take legal action or levy additional fees.
If any damage is identified upon your departure from the premises, we will schedule repairs with our vendors. All expenses will be deducted from the deposit and any remaining funds will be returned to you. We endeavor to take care of this as quickly as possible, but please note, it will take some time for us to make the inspection and necessary repairs.
